Terms of Service
Effective August 16, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MacSpotter.com and its pickup lookup, inventory history, account, and email-alert features (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What MacSpotter provides
MacSpotter presents saved snapshots derived from Apple’s public pickup information and can email you after pickup availability appears in a monitored snapshot. The Service is informational only. A snapshot is not a live inventory feed, reservation, offer, guarantee, or confirmation that a product will still be available.
Inventory can change between scans and before checkout. Always confirm the product, price, pickup time, store, and availability directly with Apple before purchasing or traveling. Purchases, reservations, returns, warranties, and support are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.
Independent service
MacSpotter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, Mac, Apple Store, and related names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their use identifies the products and public information covered by the Service.
Accounts and alerts
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity through your account. You may pause or delete alerts at any time, and every alert email includes an unsubscribe option.
Alerts may be delayed, duplicated, filtered, or not delivered because of scan timing, provider outages, email filtering, rate limits, or other technical conditions. We may limit alert volume or suspend alerts to protect users and the Service.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to harm, deceive, or harass anyone.
- Probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with security or access controls.
- Use automated requests in a way that disrupts or unreasonably burdens the Service.
- Attempt to access another user’s account or nonpublic data.
- Copy, resell, or exploit the Service in violation of law or others’ rights.
Service changes and suspension
We may add, remove, limit, or change features and supported products, or suspend the Service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated or the Service is at risk. You may stop using the Service and delete your alerts at any time.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MacSpotter and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, purchases, or travel costs arising from the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us to use the Service during the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Material changes apply prospectively. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement about the Service.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to privacy@macspotter.com.
